Danié Gómez––also known by her Instagram moniker of Journey of a Braid––has had a career that has included stops at Disney and Glamour Magazine. Along the way she has learned a few things––like the importance of dressing for yourself and being your best champion.

More specifically, Danié describes herself as a "Mexican entrepreneur and visual storyteller who is passionate for fashion as a reflection of the self."

Similarly, AMERICAE believes in the emboldening power of clothing, in celebrating ourselves as women, views dressing as an extension of the self––a form of self-expression, and believes in the concept of #realityisextraordinary.

We are excited to share the story of someone who lives and breathes the same.
